833 (Antrim) Squadron, Northern Ireland Wing ATC

833 (Antrim) Squadron is located at the heart of the Northern Ireland Wing (NIW). Presently there are approximately 35 enrolled cadets at 833 Squadron, however we always welcome new recruits at any time of the year.  Antrim Squadron has an extensive catchment area & attracts members not only from the local town, but from all over Northern Ireland

The Air Training Corps (ATC) is a national youth organization and has a close link to the Royal Air Force. Air Cadets, aged 13 to 18 and their supporting staff get the opportunity to participate in a large range of stimulating and rewarding activities, a typical year can be viewed in our Squadron 'Wiki' [Link top right]

Where else could you learn to fly on your own from the age of 16, perform aerobatics, visit Royal Air Force Stations, tour foreign countries, play sports from local to International level, learn the skills to lead expeditions, become a target shooting marksman, gain your Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, canoe through white water, assist your community, learn aviation subjects, go caving, parachute, climbing, sailing, skiing....the list goes on.
These and much more are readily available to you as a member of the Air Cadet Organization, whether you are a cadet or staff member.
